Walk Two Moons

How can I?

How have I?

To be the monster

The constant blame

Understanding the truth

The hardest pain

I always wonder how they got there

I always wonder if I have shoes to spare

Will you walk in my shoes?

They’re all ragged and loose

Stepping in shit when I was paying attention

But you saw it and didn’t mention

Can you hear like my ears?

Can you see with my eyes?

Trembling, can you feel my fear?

Can you step out of your shoes?

I don’t understand how I forgive and get assaulted again

Do you have a bazooka loaded up just for me?

Your grabbing my hand, twirling, guiding me

Tying me down, but no one can see

I’m so restrained

I feel so strained

I can’t help but to relate you to pain

So it’s so clear to me

You’ll only see how you want

It’s so clear to me

You only see so far

It’s so clear to me

You’re holding me back

And smothering me

With your perception of heart

It’s so clear to me

That being this way, we will never find who we are

Will you walk in my shoes?

They’re all ragged and loose

Stepping in shit when I was paying attention

This time I choose

Can you hear like my ears?

Can you see with my eyes?

Can you feel all my fear?

Because I’m terrified

I walked out of my shoes

Bare feet on the ground

Don’t care who I lose

Because my shoes are nowhere to be found

My feet guide the way

My toes are all brown

Rather be dirty from dirt

Then from being soaked in all the bullshit u allow
