Walked Away

You walked away from life,

from friends, family.

For why?

For a love that never came true,

for a love that was broken hearted.

Can you say it was worth it?

Can you look us all in the eyes and say you would do it again...?

Would you once again turn your back?

Would you once again leave?

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” - Mad Hatter
