Walker

I walk the same way.

Foot prints upon the ground.

Every step is a mark I've made down this journey I take.

Though my path may be unsteady, come what may, I will keep my hold.

And when I am lost, a guide will come along and point the way.

They, I hope, will not lead me astray.

So I continue this walk.

Past the sounds and the sights.

Past the people and their words.

Past harmful actions coming in my direction.

Enduring the cold and keeping from the heat.

But taking in the calming warmth...then breathing.

Only will I stop to embrace a moment.

Stopping to cause a change.

I keep to this journey so that I may grow.

Grow to be evermore human.

Evermore humane.

Evermore understanding and caring.

I do not consider myself a writer, though the people that know me do. I am not opposed to the idea either. I do, however, consider myself an "English enthusiast." I am in love with English and I decided to take part in a community of fellow lovers of English.
