The Walking Contradiction

I am me

I am the scars the line my arms and my heart

But at the same time I am the smile that never seems to fade

I am "too fat" to fit in the lighthouse according to the boy behind me

However according to his friend I am beautiful

I am hair that can never quite fall into place

And I am the eyes that can drag the truth out a criminal

Or so I'm told

I am wild dreams that no one would dare think of

While also being the fear that cripples even the bravest

I am the three am panic attack while thinking about the uncertainty of the future

But I am also the fireworks over the most magical place on Earth

I am the hand that grabs my stomach and tries to pull the skin off in disgust

However I am the hands that put me together every morning

I am a walking contradiction

I am me
