Walking With Faith
I decided to go for a stroll; time to clear my mind with a beautiful day outside, the sun shining, clear blue skies, and candy cotton clouds with different shapes and sizes. Oh! I thought a lovely day for my journey; I could do as I please. Walking miles on end I had no clue where I ended. I look to my right and look to my left and not another soul in sight.
There was this trail I saw about fifteen feet away, curious as I am I went there, slowly and to my surprise it was a deserted island. It was magical; to say the least, I was hungry and thirsty though and I was mad at myself for not bringing anything to drink or eat. Pondering to myself what should I have brought along this journey. The quietness was kind of creepy; yet the sand looked like white crystal, the trees were vibrant in green hues, the water was so blue I could’t imagine where this place has come from.
Tired from my walk to no where’s land and to be honest a little nervous at first. I realized that I had my Faith in God to help me survive this deserted Island. I prayed and I felt rejoice in my heart that has been with me all along if I just let it do its part. I was’t alone. God was with me and he would guide me along the way. He is my Shepard and I am his sheep, not that I felt helpless just a bit dependant that needed my faith that the Good Lord will see that I get everything I need to survive.
I feel blessed that I feel God’s presence and I am not really alone. I have the wonderful world of nature all around me. I am grateful to be alive, I can sing God's praise and remember if I seek I shall find, the lord will show me the way, he won’t abandoned me, he does provide. It reminds me of “Footprints walking in the Sand.” There is only one set of footprints in the sand; because God is carrying me and taking care of all of my needs. I believe it is all from the FAITH I have and want to spread all around, with the sound of my voice I rejoice, I rejoice!
All I ever need is to always hold on to Faith, it doesn't’t hold you down, it doesn't’t weigh a thing it’s all the love and kindness that God will surely bring.
