Walking on Land
I have seen servile scales belonging to a fish learning to walk on land,
choking with every breath he takes.
Every decision he makes is one born of insecurity.
He is a fish fighting to fit into with those who dismiss his existence.
His mossy seat is a shade of grass which he hopes is green enough to attract the people around him.
Hence, he has stared white canvases waiting to be stained with his inner thoughts,
and it is then that he sees a reflection of himself.
