Walking up a Slippery Hill
Whoosh, sloosh, slish, slash!,
Goes the sound, of my slippers,
As I go along, up a, slippery Hill.
Whoa!!, out of nowhere,
I lose my footing,
Then you stepped in,
Pushing me up,
Holding my hand,
While whispering words of Hope.
My daughter, don't get weary,
The end of this hill is just in sight,
With who's inside you,
My Spirit!, roaring! comforting! and guiding!,
You're sure to get to, and through this,
And every other slippery Hill that follows.
Yes, that's it,
Slow and steady is the pace,
Deep breaths, in, and out,
Feel free to scream and shout,
I'm making it!
Much closer now!
To the end of this Hill,
Thank you God!
Once again, for me,
You've purchased,
Sweet victory.
Here it is,
The end of the hill,
My new beginning!
Because, Greater is he!,
That is in me,
I've got, so many wonders,
To see!
I turn around, to see if you're still beside me,
Only to discover,
You're much closer,
You're cheering me on!,
From the depths of my inner being!,
It's higher heights from here,
For with Jesus I'm going,
Here, there and everywhere!,
Wherever he leads me,
Surely, I will Go!!
