WALKING STORIES.

We are all storytellers, even our elders.

It doesn’t matter what page you choose to turn,

It doesn’t matter  what mile you choose to run,

It doesn’t matter where you come from,

Ate crumbs, or your income.

You were the winning sperm.

Yes, Ma’am. just to confirm,

We are all walking stories.

Flip a page, pick an age, and get on stage.

The story you tell or where you choose to begin is up to you.

Old or new, it’s all on you.

You choose your chapters and its characters.

You can either walk or take an helicopter.

You choose the pattern, it doesn’t matter.

You can come from the gutter, and choose to be better.

Our stories are different, and some might be old or current, but they taught us everything we have learnt.

So what’s yours going to say?

You can write whatever you want, it’s your essay.

You can build it up with clay, build it so you can play.

Our stories are Unique, even though we might choose to critique,

Your story is up for your interpretation.

You might even be others motivation,

Because you’re an invention.

Millions of people walk around with their burdens every single day even after their hair turned gray.

I see the pain in their eyes, I know they’re hurting.

How do I keep them from falling, perhaps I’m just flirting with disaster ‘cuz I know even if Sharing their hurt is the answer, I’ll never make bitterness my master.

I see them each carrying something heavier than them, walking amongst men dying to unload.

Heads bowed, eyes blurred with tears, I’m afraid they don’t see the road.

Each one telling a story without opening their mouth, you could feel the blither of their drouth.

They just go about, without a doubt, unconscious of their next drought.

Yes, they are walking stories.

So next time you’re out for a walk, look at your clock, listen and watch, you might find your match.

A story similar to yours, choose one that endures a cure.

Dare to walk out that door, and fight a war that you haven’t fought before.
