Walking a Thin Line

If we look at our entire life

And we take in all the good and bad that has happened to us

You will realize that as we walked along our "path"

We were closer to other people than we had ever believed

Yet, the problem we had,

Was that as we walked

We only looked down.

We were so focused on our journey

So set upon the idea that we must focus on us first and formost

We never looked up as we walked

For if we had,

Just for a second

We would have come to the realization that we werent so alone

And all along we just had to reach out

And expand from this thin line we walk.

And maybe life would have been a little easier

But we were so worked up with walking on this thin line.
