Walking Through the Field

Here lies a field A field of fist and bone Bone dilapidated by a hunger A hunger that the innocent never yearn for There is a field Infested by feral rats Rats consumed by the hunger A hunger to gnaw on the bone The rats are parched Hollow echoes fill the void A dry thocking of teeth on bone The hunger’s victory cry The white pure bones are dry Filling the putrid rats with a rotten distaste A distate turning into biting abhorrence for each other An acrid mindest overpowers them They all perish Turned against each other The hunger consumed them Leaving more nameless skeletens among the field The field of hunger In which the hunger is master over everything Until a way is found around the pain Everyone will eat to fill their stomachs
