Walking Wind

Last Sunday night I walked my way to numb.
My feet got to know the street, my ears the crickets' song.
Then the wind breathed me in so I stopped breathing out.

Sunday I walked myself numb.
My mind shut down and my body done
Wind breathed me out so I stopped altogether

No breathing no feeling no thinking naught but windy weather.
