Walks the Line

(poems go here)Love walks the line of hate so finely That if one’s eye dares to examine, Love distorts itself to hate so kindly. The trick forms from the misconstrued heart Just as quickly as the warmth spreads, The piercing pain rips ones heart Not quite open but to pieces Pieces left for the kind hearted to restore This creature sweeps the crumbs Disguises hate, to piece the slices back together To find a piece gone. Lost, along with the hate. All that is left is a memory. Of one who once loved, but walked the fine line.
