Walks For Questions We Haven't Answered
The street lights look like dandelions tonight.
It's light is dancing in your eyes.
The cold rushes through us.
Bringing me and you closer.
Making our cold hearts warm.
You,
A broken family
Just like mine
With the love of no father
Leaving empty chest plates
You understand when I shout
"I want to makes these bones shake.
Feel the concrete with my hands"
But when I look inside
I find the light that dances in your eyes.
You tell me
"It's darkened here without you"
I inhale the cold
Tantalized by the light
"It'll never get that cold that again"
