The Wall

The wall is always up.
No one can break it down.
No one hardly ever tries either.

The wall is more than a wall.
It seems to take your breathe.
Tightens your chest and sends your body to shake.

Only some people sense the wall.
A few unlucky ones.
Although most will not even be able to tell they are living with the wall.

The wall isn’t always up.
Something sets it off.
Or it decides to randomly pop up.

How does someone live with this horrible wall?
The answer is simple.
They do not know how to live without the wall.

The wall is dangerous.
The wall is horrible.
The wall even has a name.

The wall is called anxiety.
