The Wall
It stands in my way and mocks me as I begin to fall.
The only thing that stands between me now is this wall.
I try to get up, for the blow of wall was too strong
The wall telling me this wasn't were I belonged.
I stood up confused wondering what it meant.
I felt in my heart, that there was nothing but a dent.
The voice from the huge wall sounded big.
It told me I needed to dig.
Dig? Dig for what?
I slowly looked down and saw a cut.
A cut so big in my heart, that I found myself harldy breathing.
This was a place for everyone's grieving.
I sunk my head into my knee's wanting to get out of this place.
I wanted to move, but the Wall wouldn't let me, it said this is the place, I was to be erased.
My cries echoed, but no one could hear me.
This was the place where no one would be.
A stranger finally appeared before my eyes.
He was wearing nothing but a black disguise.
He told me to get up and be wise.
Don't let this wall defeat you, it's not time to say your goodbyes.
I stood up once again, and wiped the tears from my eyes.
He left me with one question, why?
I said "Why do you care if I live or die?"
He replied "I am a part of you, something you can't deny."
You must be strong, you have to keep going, if you don't you'll be destroyed.
It's something you have to avoid.
How would I defeat it? There's no way I can go around, or under it!
You must destroy it before it destroys you, so don't let it get another hit!
Everyone has there wall, the wall is what holds our deepest fears.
We go through all these fears throughout our years.
The wall is something that we all need to destory, if we don't our lives will be worthless.
We need to try and reach our surface.
We don't have to try to be perfect.
We can all defeat our wall if we stand up and rise against it.
So stop that wall before it keeps you from fulfilling your dreams.
We are all together one big team.
The wall has no control over you
Whatever it say's to you is untrue.
Open your wings and fly
fly high away from the wall's place and tell it goodbye.
Because the new you, is the one withought fear.
The new you is you, and you will never have to live here.
Don't let the darkness consume what little hope you have left.
Stand up and stay strong.
