The Wall

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Why was Humpty there at all?

All the king’s horses and all the king’s men didn’t want to put Humpty together again

For you see Humpty Dumpty was not well liked

He would prank the folk well into the night

Causing fear and lots of fright

The king had ordered his horses and men to find Humpty and bring him his end

Humpty Dumpty caught wind of this this hunt

So he ran into his hut

He packed his bags with as much as he could

He packed horns

He packed gags

He packed anything he could

The king had sent out all his horses and men to Humpty Dumpty’s hut

Humpty heard the gallop of the horses

Humpty had to go

Humpty left the hut to a place unknown

Humpty found the wall

The king’s men found Humpty

All humpty could do was go up the wall

You see Humpty still loved to prank and joke

He told the men he will be broke

The men laughed

The horses neighed

Humpty loved the laugh

He lived for screams

Yelps

Scares

But the laughter filled the air

He loved the sound

So sweet to him

He felt proud of what he did

He danced on the wall

Making a fool of himself

The men laughed louder

The neighs got wilder

Humpty Dumpty finally sat down on the wall

The king’s men calmed down and began their pursuit again

They rammed into the wall trying to shake it

Humpty felt it and could not brace for it

The shaking caused Humpty to fall off the great wall

Until he landed on the ground

Humpty is no more

The kingdom is safe

The kingdom rejoiced

But what is this?

A new laugh was heard amongst the crowd
