Wall Flower

Beginnings for most were bright; mine was fairly dim.
Childhood full of hopes and dreams; just like mine.
My life was a bit rough; just like others.
I fought. I cried. I stand tall.
I'm human. I am life. I'm a blank canvas going strong.
I add some blue, red and green; emotions true and forever seen.
Some may see a mix of bland colors; you must look closer.
I'm human as wonderfully human as one can be.
I accept my flaws of caring too much, being stubborn and always ALWAYS stay up too late.
I am a  mess; both beautiful and contagious.
I am Nicole Elizabeth Patrick.
Watch me blaze on.
