Wall-flower

Type of poem: Haiku / Free Verse Topic: Solitude POEM 6 I am but a wallflower I would rather anything but socialize. Day by day I feel myself wither away, with all my colours drained. Alas, there is no one. No one who asks if I am alright. But then again, even if they asked, I would say, "I'm fine." Thus is the life of this wall-flower, yearning to have someone who cares for them, yet unwilling to act on it. Not a wallflower. Just a flower on the wall. A wall-flower.
