Walls
My head is a maze
A labyrinth, if you will;
A complicated thing that wishes so few-- ill
I have traps everywhere,
Tests for people to complete or fail,
Still people try, while others just give up
And they get lost in the ever-changing labyrinth
Of my damaged mind.
I let so few get through, the tests untouched
And yet people still try-- to earn my trust
When they do reach my inner mind
They still have failed to pierce
My forever stone cold and hard heart
And they never will,
At least...
That's what I thought
