the walls are closing in,
the walls are closing in, or are they? she feels like the world is coming down, down, down all around her. the walls are closing in. closing in on her mind, her thoughts, her heart. closing down all around her. an abyss, a spiral of her own identity is caving in. who is she? where is it all going? its all coming down around her, swirling into the depths of her mind and soul. memories twisting around her, regrets, past decisions breaking her. she is caving, her bounds are all breaking, the bounds of her heart and mind. she stops, she breathes. she realizes the walls that are coming down are the remnants of the walls she built. the confounds of her own hurt, her pain, her protector of society to control the aguish that has controlled her for so long. the walls, they break, they crash, they burn. burning away, erasing themselves from her life. fires burning in her that have been nothing more than embers for so long. burning down, the fire inside purifying that angst of her past. everything crashing down. she stops, she breathes, she realizes. realizes the walls of protection have been nothing more than the walls that have held her back from reaching out for her stars. she stops, she breathes, taking in the soot and char of memories no long gone. one by one, they diminish. she stops, she breathes, the walls are gone. she breathes. she is alive. she is pure.
