Walls of Insecurity

Fallen tears
Corrupted ears
Broken hearts
Families torn apart
Sex drive
Drug high
Is this all there is to life?
Dreams of love
Hopes of fame
Pasts we cannot change
Running from the scars
We are broken, hurt, and marred
Discontent with who we are
We stare with jealousy from afar
Drowning in the standards
All we're seeking is an answer
Searching for true love
Wondering if we'll ever be enough
Crying out for help
Somebody save us from ourselves
We're caught
We're trapped
Within the walls of our own insecurities
Will we ever be set free?
