Walls Written High

I write when I'm in a bad place
And need to release
The part of me I don't want others to see
The part of me that wants to see someone bleed
Whether it's me or another, you see
I've got so much shit in my life
Fear and anger beating on walls built so high
These walls made to hide my feelings inside
But feelings aside, I let no one inside
These walls separate me from my friends,
Me from my life
But it's better this way
No one would like what I'm like
Until my final goodbye
I'll keep these walls built inside
Me and love will never know what it's like
My walls written high keep me inside
And love is a stranger,
Kept out in the night.
