Wander!
(poems go here)
As I let my mind wander,it is filled with ambition;
And though it seems troubled,it remains on it's mission.
For it will not go gentle, into the good night,
But instead rage against the dying of light.
It shouts out to me "Why won't you let me extend?"
"Are you of ignorance,do you not feel the power within?"
Without reasoning,some may say intuition,
I whisper to myself,no one is out to listen.
I hung my head low, lower than my spine,
My out look on the world, was fuzzy no as if I were blind!
But I could not let myself feel pity or the least bit of remorse,
For once again,my mind had not yet finished its course.
Sometimes we whimper at ponderous gates,
Only to later realize, there are much greater estates.
There is someone to listen, and there always will be,
Just take a closer look, it may just be me.
My thoughts are now on declivity, though my mind is still screaming,
But my eyes are getting low & I drift off to dreaming.
So you may ask,has my mind finished it's cause?
Well of course it hasn't,it's just momentarily on pause.
