Wanderer

I wander through the halls, confused and misguided, wondering what my next move should be. I calculate my next step but I don't take the first. My dreams, my goals, everything I yearn for and everything I desire, always out of reach. I question the world around me, waiting for all the answers to consume me. Everyone around me, the diversity, the adversity, always pushing me to become a better person. I want to thank them for what they do, but I don't see how they will understand. I see the formidable foe I must finally conquer, but this foe is not so much a single obstacle or monster, but a jewel trapped in ice; only to be freed with careful planning and flawless execution. I know I should worry, but I don't because the world is my playground and I am here to conquer it. I am a wanderer.
