The Wanderer

Stop signs. Left and right.

They stop the progress and the plight.

Ingenuity lost its light, without creativity how do we fight?

Children coming as they go,

to and fro to and fro

but stop signs as they might tend to hinder afternoon delight.

The wanderer breaks the laws he runs the stops signs runs them all,

and as if like a ghost posses’ they who have not awoke.

A revolution stirs in the underbelly,

chaos is the undertaking,

but the wanderer controls them all with but a voice they come to call.

No longer shall we be repressed, if in the past I suckled on your breast,

my dear, it was just human folly

nature,

nurture,

we do befall thee

The wanderer breaks the laws he runs the stop signs runs them all

and as if like a ghost he did possess me and I awoke.
