The Wanderer Who Wishes To Be Lost

I am a wanderer in search of a home

Yet a free soul that wishes to roam.

I am a girl from small town in the middle of nowhere

And whenever I leave I can't help but stare.

Cities with skyscrapers five miles high

Only encourges my wish of  that I could fly.

I am a person who has seen two oceans in one year,

I have performed for the Globetrotter and Disney with no fear

And have been gone for weeks and have not shed one tear.

I am a person who worries where the wind might take them

For that others would look at me and only condemn.

From Paris to Beijing, I want to see it all

And with faith in who I am I will surely stand tall.
