Wandering Eyes

Love me from the inside out, not outside-in, for who I am – the goddess within.
Not for the smooth curve of my hips or the luscious fullness of my lips.
Love me not because of your lust for the rich abundance of my bust.
I see those lingering eyes wandering up my body, hear your sighs at my thighs.
I’m no meal for you to have your fill of, then discard to the side.
Raise those wandering eyes and look into mine – the gateway to my soul,
Wide open and searching for someone to make me whole,  and see through the flesh,

and bone to see the true beauty within me: my spirit, soul, – wild, vibrant, free.
I smile my sweet smile, laughing as I watch your eyes wandering up my thighs,
So ridiculous I can’t help but grin to hid the sadness that lies within.
There goes another with wandering eyes who’ll never realize the beauty behind my lips, breast, and thighs.
Or see my strength, my confidence, my intelligence, my hilarity, my compassion and understanding.
My love is like no other and I am ready to love and be loved,
Not by one with wandering eyes, but by one who sees me.

Not the curve of my hip, but me, the spirit within – beautiful, wild, vibrant, free,
Who sees into me, sees my flaws and still finds within them, beauty.
Who loves me for who I truly am and who thinks I am beautiful,
But not because of the smooth curve of my hips,
Or the luscious fullness of my lips and is not blinded by his lust,
To whom the fact that I am sexy as hell is just a bonus.
