Wanderlust

This is me.

You can't just give me a handbook of guidelines to follow.

I refuse to run behind the pack,

 I am the wildcard.

The one where you never see what's coming,

only a vision of what if’s and caution.

 I'm going to be curious,

I'm going to have a lot of questions

and I'm going to ask over and over like stubborn child,

 why?

I don't just exist, I live.

I live to follow any ounce of hope,

and search for any trace of peace.

My mind is never at rest,

I'm constantly wondering what's coming next.

Because I am never just satisfied with the facts.

 I dream to travel-

searching for the small and hidden things, that many would see as camouflage.

I find hope and security in the lost ones,

and I lose myself in the illusions of perfection.
