Wanderlust and cosmic Irony

I'm afraid that there might be

Nothing left to discover, nothing left to find.

There are no more "indias"

No more "new worlds"

No more "wests" and

No more "wilderness" to experience, live, breathe

Im too young in a world so old

Some force found it funny

To instill in me such a need to know

And explore and leave nothing for me to find

Cosmic irony: all those before me

Had better luck and better timing

<p>I really feel this way about the world; I&#39;m not saying it&#39;s unfair, but frustrating, that I&#39;ve got so few things to discover, so few things in the humanities and history left to find so that I may make some contributions to the understanding of the human condition. :(</p>
