Wanderlustful

To roam in constant hunger
for a place that can’t be named,
Chase nebulous ambitions
on a map of macramé,
Everything provoking,
trembling in your sleep
Like a broken chandelier
of decadent defeat
Take the sutures from the sunset
the heartbeat from the sea
It’s time to touch the fire,
flee the tides of reverie
