Wanna Trip, trip, trip?
Constantly wishin' always slippin',
steadily straining while its continually raining
Ever painin' while feignin' all is swell.
Deeper into myself, I don't wanna delve.
Pretending it's better to stay stagnant and not achieve
putting my heart onnna shelf, instead of my sleeve.
Rather close my eyes, than dare to believe.
Feelin' brave no longer wanna be a slave,
I decide to take a dip inside.
I take a peep and try to stifle a cry.
I hear a voice, a part of myself which seemingly
has made its own choice.
A decision which makes the worlds lies more easily bought.
A decision placing incisions into wounds from past battles fought.
With its sharp tip tryna penetrate my thoughts
to slowly release its poison like a hospital drip.
This part of me saying forget it!
Asking:
Wanna trip, trip, trip?
