Want Me

Please tell me my dear

Why don't you want me?

Why do you always just sit there

And taunt me

How do you make someone love you

When all they want to do is shove you

Around

Around in circles till you spiral down

Down a deep crevice

There's nothing to do

But wait for them

And hope that they

Wait

Waiting for unrealistic expectations

Expecting some kind of miracle

Instead you try to find something lyrical

To keep you sane

Why do these things always turn out the same?

Out of sight out of mind, right?

Wrong, it's not true

What's out of sight always sticks

Sticks in your mind

You can try to be kind

So you sit there and hope

Nothing will remind

Remind you of that day

You first shared a kiss

How did it all end up like this

First the love then the hate

Then the screaming and fights

Fights that turned in

To long dreadful nights

What I'm trying to say is I loved you, I did

But I act like a kid

And you never liked kids
