Wanting

I want to pull

Your dark hair

And make you

Smile, at me.

I want to look

In your golden eyes

So that they

Shine, for me.

I want to hold

Your rough right hand

Give you my left and

Squeeze, hold me.

I want to wish

On your shooting stars

Look for constellations

Search with me.

I want to kiss

Your chapped, dry lips

So you can have a

Piece of me.

I want to fill

Your aching soul

So the cracks don’t

Peek at me

I want to tug

At your heartstrings

So that you

Fall, for me.
