Wanting to be an Angel

Children are our future

We put the world in their hands

Parents are suppose to show the way

Sadly not all can

Bruises will heal

Scars may fade

The impressions those made

will never go away

Some call them Angels

Others call them Superheroes

I personally just call them Social Workers

Saviors in disguise

They fix what's wrong

And try to undo what's been done

Social Workers can only do so much

But what they do, they do out of care

With training and passion

Dedication and care

This is no easy task

To give your all to save another

I want to be that Angel

To show a child someone cares

I want to help save a life

No matter how much work

Gaining a Bacholars Degree. No biggie

Interning for the state. No problem

Changing a childs life

Totally worth it

Hard work gets them there

With hate always being thrown at them

But love for children in return

I may want to be an Angel to them

But children are the ones that will change me.
