Wanting to be Heard

We judge before we know

Accept those with media at their disposal

A profile picture isn't a window to the soul

You'll never know

I'd stay up countless hours

Talking, Talking, Talking

Showing you a world you didn't know

I'd awe at your ambitions

Ask about the paths you've taken

But you refuse to open my invitation

So how would you know?

That I'm an open book

Yet you judge the cover

One day someone will look

Look past my cover and awe

Awe at the content

The world it creates

But you'll never know
