Wanting Light Over Darkness

Cause to wear a halo was the cause of a demise

Underneath the heavens was a thousand years of cries

Angels danced in ringlets underneath the cellar doors

Call all to hazy shades, a paradise ever-more.

Swallowed by the jarring jaw that ate away a dream

The bells knelled through the twilight, analogous to screams

Slithering along a lair where freedom met its twin

Death that´s due to die alone, a light that´s doomed to win.
