You are everything
I do not want.
But when I run from you,
I turn to see you in every direction.
But you are everything 
I do not want.
I rationalize this.
I tell my friends,
I tell my boyfriend,
I tell myself,
that is because you 
have some good traits.
But you do not.

The only good traits you have
are the ones I dream of for you,
the ones I hope you will gain,
the ones I want you to be.

I want you to be good for me, but you are not.
