A Wanton Barter


Everyone’s life is tragic,

but who calls out the score

 

The Jester or the Hangman,

the Undertaker sure

 

Everyone’s nights are haunted,

when sleeping with the Muse

 

Each dream a wanton barter

—your memories to lose
