The War

I’m tired of the fighting and I’m tired of the war

I’m sick of the fire that always beholds in front of our faces

I wish for us to be free

I wish for us to let go

I wish for us to become one and live in harmony

I don’t want to hold on anymore

I don’t want to keep fighting

I don’t want to keep hiding

I don’t want to just keep wishing that something will change

That things, that life will never be the same

It’s important for us to stick together

But we can’t just keep waiting for each other to do the job

Can’t just keep waiting for each other to end

The pain we each have to bear alone

The cross we all have to carry on our own

The fight we fight together

The war we end together

We live to be free

We live to independent

We live to be happy

We live for the Lord

But most importantly,

We live for each other
