War
Proverbs 24:6
6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,
And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.
War
Organize the troops … the battle call is coming
Wait for marching orders … try to stay in shape
It won’t be too soon … when the planes are humming
And the adrenaline snorts … and shows death is not a game
The battle now has started … cry in agony
Pain will soon drown … joy through perseverance
Victims now are carted … in dulling empathy
To a place in the ground after a little clearance
War is hell … and so is living without God
Temporal just a breath … Eternal just a thought
Deep inside the well … where we’ve long forgot
The place we made our bed ... before this great onslaught
