War

War,

what's good about it?

A state of armed conflict

between different countries

Since the early days of human kind

Over years and years more harmful ways

To hurt the ones we call our enemy

All that becomes is death and suffering

And memories that haunt people forever

Will never fade away

There is no end in sight

For what do we fight?

But the countries leader we must follow

It can be a bitter pill to swallow

They fight for land or their religion

There can be no clear winner in such despair

Left over destruction is all that is there.

We went to Afghanistan to support another

Years gone by and still they stand

Protecting each other in the desert sand

The time has come to bring everyone home

Stop fighting a foe that will not retreat

Because it is their town

Their home, their street
