War

Guns firing and swords clashing

Bombs blowing and lights flashing

This terrible fight has now raged on

And it won't stop until they've won

Blood and gore is everywhere

Smoke and dust all through the air

Wounded soldiers coming fast

Who knows how long this war will last

Everyone fighting bravely still

The only words are "Kill, kill, kill"

Charging to battle with heads held high

We form a line and out we cry

"Surrender enemies, for our people have died,

what more do you want from our lives?"

Terror ripples through the town

Are the enemies are backing down?

Peace will come and tranquility too,

We have our hero, who we'll never lose

Happiness spreads through the crowd

Is it over, we all bowed

Sounds of laughter echo through the air

Everyone's joyful, peace is finally here

Respect for the hero's who've sacrificed their lives

To fight our battle, or fight, our cries

We must remember them for times to come

So red poppies are here to symbolize love
