War

As the sun sets And the smoke clears All the bullets Seem to disappear. It's been a long day Nothing can be done There's no need to pray For the nightmare is all gone. For women and men Fought a long war A point has been made No need to fight anymore. Hundreds of body bags Bad news soldiers were sending Appreciating life, I salute my flag Which I was defending.

This is dedicated to my brother, may he come home safe. All those that have fought for our nation I say thank you!
