War

Battles fought And wars are won As we sought Ruin with our guns But my head Fears the cost As tears are shed And lives are lost The end is nigh The war is done Enemies lie Dead with their sons I watch them die Through the night Hear their final cry See their last sight As my soul was rent For my sins are still Because I consent I went for the kill Now I will repent Time to pay the bill
