A War That Can't Be Won
(poems go here)
I am an ugly weed that grows through the body and chokes out all the good it ever had. Once I have drowned my victim in my filth I cannot be stopped. You can try but most likely I will be the winner of the war.I tried to warn him that not even the best scientists in the world can kill me but who am I the bad guy right? He heard of someone who had survived my tremendous torture and of how she won the battle against me. This gave him hope that maybe one day he could be a survivor too. Yeah she may have won the battle, but she failed to mention to him that she's always looking over her shoulder because she's terrified that I might just come back to finish her off and have another win on my plate.
I wish he would've know Its not in my control of whose lives I am destined to have. I banged on the inside of his body, I screamed at the top of my lungs trying to get his attention that even though the man he had seen for the last couple of months told him “you will get through this” wasn’t true. I Knew he wasn’t because I was the only one who knew how much time he had and it wasn’t enough to even see his next birthday; But then again I am the bad guy remember. All I brought to him was pain and pain and pain. I remember the last prayer he said to some higher power than him, it was something along the lines of if only I was virgo they have great health, but lucky for me I’m a Cancer.
