War Eyes

The fire, the pain, the blood

I saw it all

Through the eyes of young men and women

Desperately shouting for help

It was the constant sound of darkness

I remember the devil, Oh the devil

Screaming and shouting with joy

But yet, he has none

He smiles at you and me

He just stands there, waiting for the perfect moment to stab you in the heart

Like first love and break up

You know it and I know it

The world is so beautiful, but yet so brutal

Nothing in this world is free

There will always be something to trick you

Then kick you

Because, life does not care

Only you and me
