War On One
I am overflowing. My emotions churn as the froth of the sea. I am drowning.
I feel everything on a huge scale. On days at war with myself, a simple laugh can make me feel like a lottery winner.
When I break, and I do I bury myself under layers and layers of everybody’s complications; Problem lasagna.
I struggle with a billion headed-monster. My worst attributes attacking me. And here I am. One girl armed with a sword.
Faith, love, hope, and optimism, this is what the sword stands for, essential to life as oxygen or water.
One day, the war will end and the monster will be as tame as a fat, purring house cat. I will sheath my sword, and cozy up with myself and be content.
