WAR ROOM

I am drowning in a pool of despair

Where hatred and isolation have kissed

Our wills and old desires have met

Individuals are waring one another

Love is taking care of itself

This is a battlefield

Blank faces are worn by default

Insults are stuffed down with hidden agendas

Friends’ love resembles the east winds

We speak peace with evil minds

Caring is uttered in absence of conflict only!

This is a war room

Toes are stepped on whatsApp statuses

Feelings are expanded in search of sympathy

Falsehood is embraced to tarnish good names

Being intelligent is having a judgmental attitude

We’re dead to transparency and alive to dark side

This is a war room!

We speak words that closes individuals’ hearts

Living with a brother too is mentally distressing

Putting up with everything is the way to go

Bearing the burden of blames is the way to live

Speaking your mind in a crowd is a bad omen

This is a war room.
