War Zoned

War

Brings so many types of connotations and conversation.

Battle

Not sure if it will be you but you must ride it out to the end, and sometimes that just might be on a saddle.

Only the strongest survive, and those who don’t lust for power will be the weakest in an hour.

The sacrifice is another thing.

Leaving out the house everyday, getting into position, and you don’t know if this is your last day on the mission.

And guess what, it gets hard out there, your spouse is scared that you might not ever again lay in your bed.

Your kids having nightmares and terrors about you thinking about W.A.Y.?

Where are you? Come back I want you to stay!

Who knew leaving one coalition that only consists of a few to go to a new edition, can make one feel like you’re in a self-feud, along with the one that you now have to discontinue.

It’s all a mind game, got you praying and constantly saying, I hope I see you soon!

Nights pass, Mornings go, and then there goes noon.

The love that you get when you go back home is priceless which is every once in a blue moon.

Opposed to the suffering and pain endured; all those battle wounds.

And then you begin to question who are you fighting for?

Is it you? Your troops? Your country? Or your fam.

Goddamn, is it all worth it.

Zoning out of life in a war zone.

The smoke and heat is killing the ozone.

Stop thinking and keep up before you end up in the no zone.

And now the war has You war zoned.
