Warm

Your hands are warm Like the way the summer heat wraps around you in a warm embrace. But mine are cold, Like the icy snow storm on a winter night in december. Your eyes, are kind and welcoming And when your arms wrap around me I never want to let go. But I fear that I will put out the light that shines in your eyes. Because I, I am like the wind blowing out the candles on halloween night And yours, the fireworks that fire off on the fourth of July So when I take your hand in mine, I don't aim to cool you down. Or put out the passion that drives you, But your hands warm mine slowly. Like the cold-blooded creature I am I take advantage of your warmth but I don't want to leave you in the cold. But your hands are warm
